St John USVI - April 2025

We kicked off the trip with a late-night flight to St. Thomas, an early-morning arrival, and a scenic ferry ride to Cruz Bay before settling into the beautiful Astral Villa—complete with stunning views, happy hour snacks, and plenty of anticipation for the days ahead. From there, the week unfolded into a full island adventure of hikes and snorkels: Ram Head Trail, Reef Bay Trail, Lind Point Trail, Annaberg Sugar Plantation, kayaking at Hurricane Hole, and snorkeling beaches like Salt Pond Bay, Francis Bay, Haulover Bay, and Hawksnest Bay—spotting turtles, rays, reef fish, a nurse shark, and even a barracuda along the way.

Evenings were filled with well-earned meals at island favorites like Skinny Legs, Johnny Lime, Surf Club Cantina, and The Tap Room—each offering its own relaxed vibe, good prices, and satisfying food after long days of hiking and snorkeling. From mangrove paddles and petroglyph hikes to choppy-water swims and peaceful sunset views over Coral Bay, it was a packed, memorable ten days of exploring, snorkeling, hiking, and soaking in the beauty of St. John.
